We have been blessed over the years by the continued support of our business partners and we are looking forward to what God has planned for us for the rest of 2018. During these difficult economic times, fundraising gets harder, but we continue to do the work we have been called to do, and God continues to be faithful in providing.
Our tenth annual Golf Tournament fundraiser is at Tijeras Creek Golf Club in Mission Viejo this summer. We are looking forward to a great day of golf and fun times with great friends of FTLM.
FTLM is excited to announce that we are partnering with God’s Pantry- Chino, (www.gods-pantry.org), to start-up a new food pantry ministry in Jurupa Valley at Jurupa Valley High School. We are asking all of our supporters to join us to help lift up the least of these in Jurupa Valley and the surrounding communities.
The support continues for Un Nuevo Porvenir Men’s Rehabilitation Center in El Porvenir, Baja, Mexico. They celebrated their five year anniversary this year and the campus continues to grow each year. This year Carlos has expanded to a second site in Un Nuevo Porvenir Loreto. Both locations are being spiritually sponsored by Iglesias Cristiana de Porvenir under the pastoral supervision of Pastor Marcos Schultz.
Olive Tree Ministries (OTM), another ministry supported by FTLM, continues to make disciples of Jesus Christ and motivate and mobilize Latinos for the Great Commission. OTM continues to support, train and send local families from the Porvenir church body as missionaries to the Huichol Indigenous group in Mexico’s Sierra Mountains. Pastor Marcos’ passion continues to be that of challenging and training the youth of Mexico and Latin America to be Christ followers. Pastor Marcos has been invited to speak at several Youth Conferences throughout the Baja peninsula.
God continues to bless our ministry work and we give Him all the glory.
